Adept knowledge of dental terminology, patient and insurance billing processes
Proficiency in insurance verification, submission of claims and pre-determinations in addition to follow-up to assure timely payment processing
Appeal unpaid claims
Accuracy in processing and posting insurance and patient payments, adjustments, as well as patient and insurance refunds
Attention to detail
Professional demeanor with a focus on excellent customer service
Ability to multitask and problem solve
Empathy, and integrity
Friendly and outgoing demeanor
Great work ethic, with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Experience with Eaglesoft (desired but not required)
