Mental Health Support Staff (Reno/Sparks)

We have 2 openings, 1 weekends swing shift 3pm - 10pm Saturday and Sunday, and overnights 11pm to 6am Friday and Saturday, Day shift 8am to 3pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. (These shifts may be broken up to accommodate another job or school) We also have a day shift available 8am to 4pm.

(Pay depends on experience)

Support the individuals in their home and community.

Support the individuals in completing activities of daily living.

Ensure the persons home is equipped and maintained in a safe and enriched environment.

Follow all company policies and procedures to attain the mission of Rising Star LLC.

Provide supports to the individuals in a positive and consistent manner using the least restrictive methods of training.

Complete individual action plans and service plans as written including documentation of supports as well as direct service logs/notes indicating individuals progress and/or problems.

Assist the individuals in arranging transportation, accessing the community and to schedule and attend medical appointments as needed.

Attend all training as scheduled. Complete all other duties or assignments as directed by a member of the Rising Star management team.

Requirement's:

High School education or equivalent (minimum 18 years of age)

Ability to read and write in English

Nevada driver's license or Nevada ID

Social Security Card

Additional Requirement's if hired: (The following will be paid for by Rising Star with at least 6 months of employment.)

2 Step TB test

CPR/First Aid

Fingerprint's and Background Check

Medication Management

- Good organizational and time management skills-

Ability to self initiate responsibilities- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, coworker's and administration-

Work flexible hours including weekends and evenings-

Ability to maintain confidentiality-

Ability to recognize and report hazards and apply safe work methods- Complete ongoing training as required to maintain employment.
