At Truckee Pediatric Dentistry we take pride in providing excellent care to our patients in a caring and compassionate environment. We are currently seeking an outstanding Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. The RDH is expected to set the tone for the appointment by engaging in purposeful conversations that identify the patients motivators and concerns and captures all pertinent information through effective communication skills. The RDH will serve as “co-pilot” in navigating a patients plan for long term, complete care. The goal is to work synergistically with the dentist and team to make sure that every patient receives the best hygiene, restorative and preventive care possible. We are seeking a candidate that is a leader, self-starter, conscientious, decisive, and who possess very high standards of care. Candidates must possess a California Dental Hygiene license. Job duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Performing Caries Risk Assessments
Taking prescribed radiographs
Scaling and coronal Polishing
Sealant Placement
Assisting doctor with hygiene exams
Working independently to provide excellent care to our patients and help motivate them to engage in activities that promote ideal dental health and minimize risk of developing caries.
