Rock & Rose Inc. is a Landscape Company and Retail Nursery locating in the beautiful Tahoe Area.

• Landscape Construction Laborer

• Garden Detail Supervisor

• Delivery Driver & Yard Laborer

• Nursery Sales Supervisor

• Receptionist & Office Assistant

Landscape Construction Laborer:

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Experience in Landscape installation, planting, irrigation and maintenance preferred, but will train the right

hardworking individuals

• Will be able to demonstrate working knowledge of tools/equipment/practices etc.

• My be required to operate small machinery

• Reports any/all unsafe conditions or accidents

• Reports to work on time in appropriate uniform and boots

• Able to communicate with supervisors in a timely and thorough manner

• Completes assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly and per company production rates

• Able to operate small power equipment and basic tools safely and properly:

• Will be in good physical condition, able to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Interested in being apart of a fun team!

Garden Detail Supervisor:

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Experience in light Landscape installation, planting, irrigation and maintenance preferred, but will train the

right individual

• Work together with the Landscape designer and estimator

• Assist/Perform plant maintenance, watering, weeding, pruning, deadheading, planting, planter bed care and

fertilization

• Reports any/all unsafe conditions or accidents

• Reports to work on time in appropriate uniform and boots

• Run a crew of 2-3 people for planting installation and landscape maintenance

• Plan and schedule work crew for daily activities

• Able to communicate with supervisors in a timely and thorough manner

• Completes assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly and per company production rates

• Able to operate small power equipment and basic tools safely and properly: back pack blowers, shovel, rakes,

spades, grub hoe, wheelbarrows etc.

• Spanish speaking but not required

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work outdoors in adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and is insurable under companies policy

Retail Nursery Sales Associates:

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Excellent Customer service

• Assist customers with plant sales provide information and plant suggestions

• Plant maintenance, watering, weeding, pruning and fertilization

• Receive and unload deliveries

• Stock, price, organize and display inventory

• Schedule customer deliveries

• Load customers with bulk material, which will require operating equipment (will train)

• Complete sale transactions

• Cash register experience

• Assist in yard maintenance to provide a clean ,organize, and safe environment

• Plant knowledge and experience is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work outdoors in adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time.

• Must be willing to work weekends

Nursery Sales Supervisor:

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Plant knowledge and experience required

• Oversee staff by communicating, providing direction and training

• Ensure daily duties are completed properly

• Help ensure plant health with proper care and placement

• Supervise weekend operations

• Balance cash register and daily sales

• Assist in ordering material

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work outdoors in adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time.

• Weekends are mandatory

Delivery Driver & Yard Laborer:

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and is insurable under companies policy

• Comfortable operating a full size truck with a dump bed

• Experience operating heavy equipment

• Excellent customer service

• Complete daily delivery schedule efficiently and in a timely manner

• Load bulk material customer’s

• Assist in unloading incoming deliveries

• Responsible for yard maintenance and organization ensuring a safe and clean work space

• Irrigation maintenance, perform weekly checks and repair

• Assist with plant maintenance, watering, weeding, pruning and fertilization

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work outdoors in adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time.

Receptionist & Office Assistant:

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service

• Greet customers in a friendly, professional and timely manner

• Direct customer information to the appropriate department

• Schedule appointments for customer consultations

• Assist with nursery sales by ringing up customers and providing basic product information

• Maintain indoor retail and office space, organize and display products

• Assist in data entry

• Willingness to learn company’s POS and accounting software programs

• Basic gardening knowledge or general interest is a plus
