SignPro, a growing commercial sign and graphics company in Carson City, is seeking sign preparation and installation person.
This is a part-to possible fulltime entry or mid-level sign production position with a flexible schedule, perfect for a recent high school graduate, college student or someone with weekend or evening hobbies. Skills learned here easily transfer to shops in other communities.
At a minimum, the employee performs vinyl sign layout and assembly, installation onto substrates, vehicles, glass, walls and on-site applications and various fabrication duties. In addition the employee will install property for sale and other signage using temporary posts and digging tools.
The position requires good verbal skills, basic math and spelling capability, physical coordination and a desire to produce great products. The person will be standing 75% of the time producing signs in our 2500 s.f. shop; 25% of the time will be installing lettering or signs. The employee uses power tools and cutting tools. Must be able to lift and handle 65 lbs.
Must have a valid drivers license and insurance. Owning your own pickup truck is a plus. Previous vinyl sign assembly or print shop experience is not necessary.
