Small Family Owned Property Management Looking for Skilled Handyman for Rental Properties
Required:
- Must be Licensed and Insured
- Must have own reliable transportation, tools and the skillset to handle handyman needs of single family homes (ex. carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical, grounds maintenance, basic irrigation, basic appliance repair, painting, flooring, drywall repair/replace, etc)
- Must keep accurate records, receipts.
- Must have good clear communication (ex. advising when job is being started, or is complete, getting authorization when project will take more time or cost more, etc.)
- Must be Self Motivated & willing to take Initiative.
- Willing to take On-Call, Per-Project Work.
- Must have good Customer Service skills and ability to interact positively with owners, tenants, vendors.
On average we have enough per project work to fill approx 1-2 days a week of steady work, though we are jumping into the summer months and will be having 3-4 days a week of steady work. This is a contractor position, it pays hourly, per-project. We are looking to gain a long-term relationship with the right contractor.
