Sweet Factory seeks a full-time Business Manager for its retail location at the Meadowood Mall in Reno, NV.
SUMMARY
Manages a retail unit engaged in selling mix and match bulk candy, novelty candy and related novelty items by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties and responsibilities to be maintained in store at all times:
Maintains customer service to company standards.
Positively impact sales, Units Per Transaction, Dollars Per Transaction and net profit by being sales aware and merchandises the store to company plan or directs workers preparing merchandise displays and executes company sales promotion activities.
Maintains a neat, clean, organized, well-presented, disciplined and consistent business unit and assures that maintenance standards of cleanliness and repair are maintained either through others or personally.
Orders merchandise to replenish merchandise on hand and control inventory levels.
Keeps store well merchandised with appropriate product selection and merchandising standards maintained to the standards listed in the Process and Procedure Manual to optimize sales.
Plans and completes employee work schedules on time and properly so that business requirements are reflected and assigns employees to specific duties.
Insures that the store is fully staffed with quality employees and executes company-training programs.
Assures that employees are well groomed to standards set by the Process and Procedures Manual and are trained to maximum productivity.
Supervises employees engaged in sales work, taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records, or preparing daily record for Accounting, or performs work of subordinates, as needed.
Ensures compliance of employees with established security, sales, and record keeping procedures and practices to maximize profitability.
Insures that physical inventories are well organized and accurate.
Sees that receiving and transfers are performed properly and controls expense and adheres to all company cash control policies so that shrink is within guidelines to maximize profits.
Answers customer's complaints or inquiries and performs all aspects of customer service.
Insures proper opening and closing of the store, locks and secures store and follows all company security policies and procedures.
Identifies areas of opportunity and prepare effective action plan to address.
EDUCATION
High school graduate or equivalent required.

It is understood that a Business Manager responsibility includes all elements of
single store operations, whatever time and processes may be required for successful
