Sweet Factory seeks a part-time Assistant Manager for its retail location at the Meadowood Mall in Reno, NV.

SUMMARY

Assists the Store Manager in managing employees and operations of a single retail unit.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties and responsibilities to be maintained in store at all times:

Generates Sales Increases

• Is able to positively impact sales, average transaction and units per transaction.

• Is able to identify areas of opportunities and works with the Business Manager to

prepare effective action plans to correct.

• When Manager on Duty, Customer Service standards are maintained.

• Is sales aware. Recruits, Hires, Trains and Develops the Best People in the Retail Industry

• Assists the Business Manager in recruiting and interviewing potential employees.

• Assists the Business Manager is ensuring all training programs are implemented 100%. Neat, Clean, Well-presented, Disciplined, Consistent Stores

• Assists the Business Manager in ensuring store is merchandised well with merchandising standards maintained.

• Works with Business Manager to ensure merchandise selection is appropriate in store.

• Works with Business Manager to ensure store is clean with cleanliness standards

maintained.

• Assists the Business Manager on keeping store organized.

• When Manager on Duty, employees are well-groomed.

• Is able to perform all maintenance duties and all maintenance standards maintained. Controls Expenses to Maximize Store Profitability

• Assists the Business Manager in ensuring physical inventories are organized and

accurate.

• Receiving and transfers performed properly.

• Security issues kept to a minimum and acted upon immediately.

• All cash control polices are adhered to.

• Assists Business Manager in effective product ordering.

• Assists Business Manager in effective employee scheduling.

Miscellaneous

• Ability to analyze and interpret related business reports / periodicals.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Sound reasoning ability.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

EDUCATION

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
