Job Description
We are seeking a Farm Laborer immediately to complete jobs ranging from general field maintenance to crop and irrigation care, to equipment repairs, and pest management at an 1000 acre industrial hemp grow in Plumas County, CA.
The 1000 acre industrial hemp operation is in partnership with a leading research university. This is an incredible opportunity to learn about industrial hemp, and be a key member of a group pioneering large scale hemp cultivation in the USA.
The right Farm Laborers will be hard-working, reliable, and quick to complete simple tasks. The initial contract will be for 15-20 weeks, but for the right hard working individuals there will be an opportunity for full-time employment at the end of the contract period.

$600- $1000/ week dependent on experience

Responsibilities:
Work under direction of Farm Managers and side-by-side with Master Growers
Walk through fields caring for plants and notifying management of problems
Help equipment operator, and other skilled labor when necessary.
Prep field by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
Load or unload materials.
Put together and take apart temporary structures
Remove, fill, or compact earth.
Follow instructions from supervisors.
Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
Perform site clean-up.
Implement nutrient and irrigation programs
Other responsibilities as assigned
Nice to have skills:
Hemp or Cannabis experience a huge plus, but not necessary
Big agriculture experience a plus
