Drywall finishers and framers needed for new construction in Sparks, NV! (USA Parkway)
Job Duties: FINISHER
-Preparing walls and ceilings for painting and final texture after drywall panels have been installed.
-Responsible for sealing joints, filling gaps and creating a smooth (or textured) seamless surface.
-Applying mud compound, tape as needed and texture per specs.
-Sanding and smoothing between coats of mud.
-Will need tools of trade for drywall finish to include: mud pan, sanding tools, mixing drill and paddle, dust mask, knives and various hand tools to complete the scope
Job Duties: FRAMER
-Constructing and installing framework for walls, ceilings and partitions using metal studs, measuring twice, cutting once.
-Must read blueprints, do layout, use hand and power tools installing studs and tracks and working in conjunction with the hangars and tapers.
-Will need tools of the trade to include tape measure, chalk line, metal shears, power saws, saw zawl and various other saws.
Pay is $30/hr
$100/days worked per diem if you reside 50 miles or more from the job site.
Schedule is M-S
60 hours per week
Must have OSHA 10, valid ID and pass background check/drug screening
