Management from the successful “The Turf Depot Inc.” company in San Mateo, CA is expanding to the Reno, NV area with a planned 9,600 SF Office, Showroom, and Warehouse facility located in Sparks, NV and opening September 1, 2020.
Are you ready for a great opportunity as a Full Time Warehouse Associate?
Prefer experienced personnel, but company is willing to train the right person.
Expected approximately 40 hours per week (possibly more - depending on workload). Work hours are expected to be approximately 8 hours per day between approximately 06:00 am and approximately 06:00 pm generally a five (5) day work week between Monday through Saturday, (shift days and times as designated by Company management) with weekend and other extra hours/days worked as directed to ensure tasks are completed in a timely fashion and to meet the needs of the customers and the company.
Non-Exempt starting hourly rate of pay offered at least $14.00 per hour and up - actual rate of pay commensurate with and due consideration given to level of experience - no company benefits.
Are you reliable, focused, trustworthy, flexible, highly organized, tech savvy a plus, have previous delivery/warehouse/parts experience (preferred) and who has intermediate to advanced computer skills (preferred), including Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Office Products; especially Outlook, Excel, and Word, can adapt to new tasks, and capable of working autonomously without daily direct supervision.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Delivery – Delivery Experience a big plus. Valid driver's license required. Clean driving record.
Inventory - make record, and organize all products, tools, materials, etc. housed in the warehouse.
Consistently maintain inventory for all warehouse contents, and stored in an organized fashion, at all times, including, but limited to, when products, materials, equipment are delivered to warehouse, items are brought to warehouse from projects, items are shipped out, etc.
Upkeep - maintain warehouse, showroom, storage areas, offices, etc. in a neat, orderly, and safe fashion.
Receiving parts, materials, products and correct placement within the warehouse designated storage locations.
Packing materials/products, etc. for shipping to clients/customers, to projects, etc.
Arranging for and/or making materials and equipment delivery (and pick up) to and from customers and/or project sites.
Maintain files for manuals and information related to company equipment, materials, parts, etc.
Able to lift 50# and coordinate/operate equipment to do lifting of heavier and or awkward shaped items.
Experienced and Certified to operate Forklift (Preferred) or must be certified early in employment.
Dependable, organized, detail oriented, efficient, and focused on timely completion of tasks.
Additional tasks and duties assigned as needed.
Relevant (Warehouse and/or Delivery) Experience: 2-5 years (Preferred)
Parts Management Experience: 2-5 years (Preferred)
Professional attributes in attire, behavior, ethics, integrity, decision making, all forms of communications, interfacing with clients/customers, co-workers and others.
Language: English, with fluency in Spanish a plus.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and willing to submit to lawful background check and drug test.
