Gas Estimator Opportunity in the NH Area
Progressive GE is seeking an experienced gas estimator to work on various utility projects in the New England area, this work is based in NH (with some work from home)
You will be responsible for managing the cost estimations for projects in the New Hampshire territory. You will have general responsibility for the development of gas projects ranging from maintenance, new business projects, new services & standard meter sets. - this is a full cycle project management role.
These are multi-discipline projects, and you may work on several projects concurrently.
Skills & Experience Required:
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary
3 to 5 years in the technical, operational, estimating or engineering aspects of the electrical utility/construction industry.
Utility industry experience preferred. (2) years' experience in one or more aspects of the job is required and gas experience is strongly preferred
Knowledge of gas distribution operations including engineering, construction, and maintenance practices, as well as Federal, State, and company codes and regulations.
Understands gas pipeline systems, construction materials, design and engineering concepts, and overall knowledge of construction.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, project-estimating or similar discipline required.
