Job Description

Support Marketing organization across all areas of Operational Marketing, Trade Marketing, Retail Excellence, clienteling, sampling, new client acquisition, and customer retention to support omni needs of the business.

Spearhead

Operational & Trade Marketing planning including strategy, execution of virtual & in-person eventing, sampling efforts, and coordination with Supply & Field teams to ensure flawless implementation including:

  • 360 strategy across all trade functions (including Flagship doors & Specialty Store accounts)
  • Eventing – virtual and in-person with Field teams
  • Monitoring all operational marketing to ensure on time and on budget execution of all programs
  • Launch toolkit creation and implementation
  • Animation book support for the Field teams
  • Strong collaboration with Supply Teams locally to ensure on time program support
  • Collaboration with all cross-functional stakeholders
  • Annual planning of Marketing tools and Trade planning to drive growth, awareness, and sales
  • Monitor and track marketing POSM budget (sampling/GWPs and trade/eventing)

Retail Excellence

  • Focus on best in class implementation of retail tools/retailtainment in Top Flagship & Ultimate Doors
  • Work closely with store & .com teams to support all retail excellence needs
  • Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to ensure alignment on Field support elements
  • Support successful Haute Parfumerie

    roll-out in new doors from an experiential and sampling perspective

Lead brand

clienteling efforts in partnership with Marketing and Field teams to help Guerlain remain best-in-class clienteling brand, including:

  • Oversight of clienteling process for in-store implementation and coordination across all touchpoints
  • Continued alignment with Field team on ongoing process
  • Setting of KPIs for flawless execution
  • Development of collateral tools for roll out
  • Analyze and refine clienteling plan over time

Sampling/GWP strategic sampling oversight across key marketing focus areas and across Brick and Mortar and .com, including:

  • Monitoring of the entire sampling/GWP process and allocations
  • Coordination with the Field, Sales, Marketing and Education teams
  • Daily management of the allocation file
  • Coordination with global team on sampling/GWP pipeline and planning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of experience working in a marketing setting, preferably within prestige fragrance and beauty industry
  • Self-starter, high degree of initiative and independence – not afraid to ask questions, take criticism and lead new initiatives
  • High level of maturity; ability to handle regular communication with internal/external partners
  • Resourceful and creative problem solver – at times with little direction/oversight
  • Strong organizational skills; able to track multiple projects and details
  • Detail oriented, organized, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel experience
  • Ability to interact at all levels with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactive, requiring little direction, takes responsibility
