Shift Supervisor needed for busy & growing bakery & cafe. We are open 6am-6pm so shifts will be 6-8 hours/day, full or part-time. One weekend day required.
Duties include overseeing other Front of House employees during your shift, creating goals & deadlines for tasks, delegating & organizing work flow, managing daily operations, attending to customers, reconciling possible guest dissatisfactions, end-of-day register close up & cash deposit and ensuring correct bakery close-up.
Job knowledge to be learned will include panini & smoothie making, barista work, pastry boxing, cake & catering order-taking & general knowledge of all products on hand/created at the bakery.
The right candidate must have prior entry-level management or supervisory experience or school leadership role, be outgoing, display a yearn to grow & lead a team. Hospitality or related field experience required; food service experience preferred but not required. We're a fun group looking to add a smiling face to our already excellent team!
Hours are 16-24 hours/week. Cash tips are distributed weekly on top of the hourly wage.
