Fun loving, charismatic 19-year-old young man (with physical support needs) seeks person to provide social, physical and health support. This is a part-time position of 6-8 hours/week, mostly during weekend and possible some weeknight hours. Rate of pay ranges from $15-$25/hour, depending on the level of experience/medical training of the applicant. Staff will assist this young man with social activities at the familys home and in the community, some health care needs and occasional academic support. This is a position for someone who is both fun and responsible. Training in health care support (such as an LPN or LNA/CNA) is a definite plus but not a requirement for applying. It is a bonus if you love good music and sports, especially the Patriots, Red Sox and NASCAR.
Hours week-to-week will vary somewhat. We are willing to work around your schedule. This is a fun job within a close-knit, busy family that wants to help their son, who experiences physical mobility and health challenges, have the engaging life and academic and social success that he desires. Clean criminal and driving records a must! Accessible vehicle is provided by the family during support hours.
