The Rabbit Hill Inn is seeking a dedicated breakfast cook for our 19-room AAA Four Diamond country Inn. Candidates should have hands-on experience in a scratch kitchen (preferably with breakfast), solid references, a keen culinary skill set, and strong work ethic. Dedication and reliability are a must. This is a small, creative, and culinary forward kitchen. We maintain a pleasant and respectful work environment. Unlike a restaurant, we serve unique breakfast offerings to our in-house guests only (not to the general public).
We are seeking:
a positive, self-motivated, energetic cook who genuinely enjoys working with food and can execute a complete breakfast service with minimal supervision.
a person who is willing to learn new techniques and is excited about new and creative ideas.
an individual who is not above doing whatever needs to be done in a small kitchen by a small staff including dishwashing, cleaning, and storing deliveries.
Additional Facts:
This is a year-round position that requires approximately 30 hours per week spread over 6 mornings.
TWO weeks paid vacation. One week in April, one week in early Nov (during inn's brief closure periods).
Inn is closed on Christmas.
Wages commensurate with experience.
We are located in Lower Waterford Vermont - just 15 minutes from Littleton, NH and St. Johnsbury, VT.
