My name is Abby and I'm looking for a few part-time Personal Care Assistants! I use a wheelchair full time due to a physical disability, yet I live a fun and adventurous lifestyle that allows me to live independently. I graduated from UNH in 2018 and just recently moved back to Newmarket, so I'm looking for a few people in the area who would want to work together over the summer (and potentially into Fall semester)! I work full-time, where I commute to Portland 2 days a week, and work from home 3 days a week. During the days and weekends I am home, I am in need of someone to help me out. I need assistance with daily tasks, such as getting up and ready during the mornings, help midday with transfers, meal prep, accompaniment in the community, and also assistance getting into bed at night. Overall, this is a leisurely, but rewarding position that will make a difference in my life so that I can be an independent individual! This is a great resume booster and a flexible position that works with YOUR schedule. This is a part-time position, but am willing to work out however many hours you may want to work. To convince you even more, I have a very fun-loving, outgoing personality and can make with laugh with my terrible jokes :)
No experience in heath care in necessary. Training is provided to you.
