SSC Service Solutions at New England College is looking to fill a Groundskeeper position. Duties include but are not limited to: cutting and trimming of grass using a riding lawn mower and/or push mower, maintaining flower beds, mulching, weeding, pruning, spring and fall clean up including leaf blowing and removal, snow removal including plowing, shoveling, operating a snow blower, sanding and salting, and assisting with the set up and break down of special events on campus. The right candidate must be reliable, flexible, and must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This is a physically demanding position which will include moving furniture, installing window air conditioning units, and also requires outdoor work in all weather conditions.
This is a full time job and a valid driver's license is required.
