This position involves taking responsibility as the lead laborer on our mowing crew. While you will share equal labor with other crew members, your higher pay will mean you will also be responsible for making decisions, keeping your crew on task and working safely, having great communication with the owner, and making sure that all services provided in the field by you and your crew are 100% up to standard and done in an efficient manner. The crew will consist of yourself and 1 or 2 other members, and we will strongly consider candidates you may suggest to fill out the crew.
While your first priority will be mowing, specifically May-October, you must be able and willing to contribute labor and leadership to the following tasks as well, if and when instructed:
- De-thatching
- Spring Cleanups
- Fall Cleanups
- Mulch work
- Snow removal (operator positions available going into next winter, at $25+ an hour)
- Occasional contributions to hardscape/irrigation/any other projects going on within the company
Pay is $20 per hour, with no problem reaching 40+ hours every week. Direct deposit is available and pay is weekly.
While we anticipate mowing to begin in the first week of May, this position's start date is April 1st to help with general spring business start-up, de-thatchings, cleanups, hardscapes, irrigation, etc.
Our company provides high quality equipment, with all business operations being legitimate and fully insured/licensed.
This is a great time to jump on board with us, as our sales have quadrupled over the course of the last 4 years, with a majority commercial workload in the winter and growing commercial landscaping workload.
You must have multiple years experience and extreme comfort in operating exmark zero turn mowers, smaller mowers, trimmers/blowers, an F350 and/or F450, with trailers ranging in size from 12 to 16 feet. Furthermore, we provide very high quality mowing services so any issues with rutting, scalping, poor trimmer work, etc will have a no tolerance policy for yourself and your crew members.
