The Deputy Director of the Housing Authority of the Town of Newmarket, a small public housing and Housing Choice Voucher agency, will have the opportunity to perform meaningful and impactful work for an agency that provides affordable housing in the highly impacted region of seacoast New England.
The Deputy Director reports directly to the Executive Director and will have opportunity for professional advancement within the Agency.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Provide hands-on administrative, managerial activities and program compliance
Program Administrative services to include but not limited to:
Finance budgeting, auditing
Operations HCV, PBV & PH and related policy development
Housing Development grant writing, new construction
Property Maintenance supervise maintenance scheduling, capital needs assessment
Required Experience:
Preferred Bachelors degree in Business, Social Services or associated field
Five years experience in assisted housing or rental property management
Knowledge of Federal housing regulations preferred
