At Exeter Subaru we have a firm belief that our customers do not want to and should not have to deal with pushy sales people in order to buy a product as great as a Subaru. This is why we do not hire people with prior automotive experience. We look for individuals that have strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, effective communication skills, and a result driven attitude. Individuals that excel in this position are; reliable, organized, have ambition, a strong work ethic, and the ability to excel in a high-energy, fast paced environment.
We provide all the tools necessary as well as hands on training to get you started. With our proven training program you will be guiding customers through the process of helping them find their perfect car. Not only will you receive the initial hands on training but we will also help you throughout your employment to ensure your success.
Daily Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Follow up with sold and un-sold customers
- Ability to demonstrate the features of each vehicle to customers
- ½ hour of product, process and procedure training by our General Sales Manager
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide the best customer experience
Exeter Subaru offers Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance and Delta Dental to all full time employees 30 days after start of employment. We are closed Sundays and all major holidays, as we believe family work balance is important. Exeter Subaru also offers retirement plans, growth potential and discounts on purchases, repairs and reconditioning of employee vehicles.
Compensation: $30,000 - $50,000 annually + bonuses (entry level)
Example of a Product Specialist’s schedule (42 hours per week):
Mon 9:00am – 5:30pm
Tues. 9:00am – 7:00pm
Wed. – off
Thurs. 11:00am – 7:00pm
Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday 9:00 am – 5:30pm
Sunday – CLOSED
