Service & Sales Associate Wanted!

Salary & Benefits: Health insurance if needed, salary based on experience, company vehicle, and eventual potential for commission on sales. Paid holidays and vacation time.

Hours: Required minimum availability Monday - Friday, 8:00a - 4:30p. Successful candidate will be willing to work and travel outside the minimum required hours if needed.

Position Details: This position starts by working in the shop as a service associate in order to gain a full understanding of how the equipment works and is maintained. Success in the shop will lead to the eventual delivery and set up, and finally sales of Finn equipment. Customer service and support is of paramount importance to the position and company.

Responsibilities & Duties (in no particular order):

1) Work as a mechanic as well as delivery and pick-up person.

2) Maintain a basic database of customer locations etc.

3) A willingness to learn about the complete line of Finn equipment.

4) A willingness to graduate into sales.

5) A willingness to travel around New England as needed to customer locations.

Work Experience & Skills:

• Must be familiar with mechanics, medium duty landscape equipment.

• Must be outgoing and eager to learn.

• Must be a team player but be able to work independently day to day.

• Must be computer/smart phone literate (email, calendars, office)

• Must have some experience towing small trailers.

• Must be willing to travel throughout the territory (and beyond once in a while).

• Sales experience a plus, not completely necessary (we will teach you).

• Good driving record required for consideration of position.

• DOT Drug Testing is required.

• CDL License a plus.

• Must be customer oriented.

• A knowledge of the landscape industry/market will be helpful in this position.
