We are looking to hire a diesel mechanic. Someone with strong trouble shooting skills.
Repairs will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks and tank trailers under minimal supervision
- Extra consideration for experience with Peterbilts-cummings engine / Kenworth-Caterpillar engines
- Must be able to read codes
- Must be able to document repairs and maintain files
- Must have a valid driver's license. Extra consideration for CDL-A and Medical Card.
- Must possess at minimum a set of hand tools.
- Ability to work nights & weekends for occasional roadside assistance
- Oxy / Acetylene torch cutting, steel & aluminum fabrication & welding
- Maintain a clean shop
Up to $40 per hour + OT
