AFFCO Rangiuru is seeking an enthusiastic, talented and suitably experienced cold store supervisor to oversee the Freezer department and provide relief to the loadout Supervisor as and when required. The Cold store supervisor coordinates and leads a team of freezer hands in the Freezer Department and is responsible for ensuring effective load in management including receival, coordination and documentation of meat products to the coldstores and providing support for inventory control and documentation at our Rangiuru plant, Te Puke.
This challenging role is also responsible to ensure all goods are handled and dispatched to specification, optimizing capacity and quality, liaising with multiple teams and departments whilst championing Health & Safety on site.
We are looking for someone who is positive with a 'can-do or I'll find a way' attitude that is capable of working under pressure.QualificationsWhile not essential, candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:Proven experience in a similar role in New ZealandOutstanding operational management and leadership skillsTraining, developing and mentoring staff.Continuously improving standards and profitability.Recording and processing documentation/departmental administration in an accurate and timely manner.Management/supervision of all staff within the department.Exposure to Quality Systems, Risk Management, and Regulatory requirements.Willingness to drive Health & Safety amongst all peers and staff. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, however it is not necessary.
