As a Product Technician you will be an integral member of the Engineering team responsible for configuring and managing internal hardware both in house and via remote access tools and portals, fielding technical issues via the products portal and remote access tools and also helping with miscellaneous scripting tasks for testing and validation. You will be the primary interface between services and engineering and will from time to time conduct training sessions for the service teams so that they may be able to install, configure, calibrate, and support the product better and assist in creating proper documentation.

Skills:
Support side: 50%
• Managing requests / documentation through Jira or Zoho (or salesforce or something similar)
• Needs to be able to understand their products inside and out so they can communicate with engineering and support on how to configure, support and install products
• remote access tools - TeamViewer or related software
• manage the hardware - zebra, network, ubiquity, routers, switches
Debugging and Testing: 50%
• Scripting experience such as Python, Shell or Bash is a big plus
• Manual tests
• hardware troubleshooting
