Description

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Project Assistant. As a Project Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our nonprofit organization in various administrative and marketing tasks. Your responsibilities will include research grants and loans, event coordinating, data entry, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough research on grants and loans available for our nonprofit organization, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

Assist in the preparation and submission of grant applications, ensuring compliance with guidelines and deadlines.

Coordinate and support the planning and execution of events, including venue selection, vendor management, logistics, and participant communication.

Perform data entry tasks, maintaining accurate records of project-related information, contacts, and financial data.

Collaborate with team members to develop and implement marketing strategies, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and content creation.

Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, such as brochures, newsletters, and press releases.

Support project management activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.

Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.

Provide general administrative support, including managing calendars, handling correspondence, and organizing files and documents.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather and analyze information from various sources.

Proficiency in data entry and experience with database management systems.

Basic knowledge of marketing principles and experience in executing marketing campaigns is preferred.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Previous experience in a nonprofit organization or project management role is a plus.

Requirements

Proficiency in QuickBooks software, with the ability to accurately manage financial transactions, generate reports, and reconcile accounts.

Experience in event coordination, including venue selection, vendor management, logistics, and participant communication.

Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, with the ability to effectively utilize CRM tools for marketing and customer engagement purposes.

Strong administrative skills, including organization, time management, and attention to detail.
