Job Description

We're looking for a

Manager, Assurance and Improvementto lead a team providing oversight of management systemsacross Firstgas Group. Reporting to the General Manager, HSEQ, this role will lead the development and implementation of robust assurance processes and identification of opportunities for system improvements.

You’ll be joining an experienced team of talented people who work within an atmosphere where autonomy, teamwork and flexibility complementthe challenging and interesting work environment.

You'll be responsible for:

  • People leadership

  • Developing and implementing management systems to support business requirements

  • Developing and implementing robust assurance programmes including audits, management systems and training/competence

  • Identifying areas for process improvement and leading improvement activities as required

  • Interface with the Continuous Improvement (CI) team to support the CI programme, as required

  • Supporting the broader HSEQ team with process improvement activities

  • Interface with Projects QA and QC functions to support quality management

Qualifications

Do you have?

  • 10+ years’ experience in quality, auditing, systems management and assurance and/or operational excellence

  • Proven experience leading a team with ability to drive results

  • A willingness to learn, develop and share knowledge

  • Exceptional relationship building skills

  • The abilityto communicate clearly on complex subjects, with a variety of audiences, sometimes in high pressure situations
