Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a Teaching Laboratory Technician within the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. The role is responsible for the planning and organisation of the highly specialized Pharmacology undergraduate student laboratories.

The position involves the setting up of the Pharmacology undergraduate teaching laboratories and the acquisition of consumables, animal tissue and consumables required for those laboratories.

Proactively monitoring and maintaining Health and Safety standards in the teaching laboratory area is a requirement of the role. The position will suit someone who is well organised, able to multitask and is self-motivated.

You will hold a BSc, MSc or equivalent in Pharmacology or Biomedical Science and have experience in a tertiary teaching laboratory.
