Administer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Maintain, analyze, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
Fix computer problems, and recommend appropriate action/solutions
Match hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
Support records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Please send resume to Laura.Scott@rht.comRequirements Thorough understanding of Windows XP/ Win7/ Win 10 /desktop OS Expert Microsoft 365 Administrator Strong knowledge using network management tools to monitor and analyze network health. Knowledge of switches, routers, networking protocols, and LAN/WAN traffic Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP Proficient in: IP Routing, VOIP Strong skills supporting a wireless network Excellent computer skills necessary in Microsoft Office Suite Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting Arranging scheduled upgrades Investigating faults in the network Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases Reporting network status to key stakeholders Strong troubleshooting capabilities evidenced by organized and analytical thinking Strong verbal and written communications skills Work independently as part of a team with minimal supervision Vendor supervision and vendor contract management Must be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and interact with all types of clients including technology, business, management and executive management Ability to work in a high-pressure dynamic environment Minimum 7 years of computer hardware and software support Excellent people skills with ability to handle difficult situations Experience with Virtual Computing Environments i.e. Citrix, VMWare Experience supporting Mobile Devices and Video Conferencing Systems Keen attention to detail, with a commitment to follow through and follow-up Excellent time management and organizational skillsTechnology doesn't change the world.
