Full Job Description
Perform customer service support and meet clients' day-to-day administrative needs with respect to inventory and order management.
Provide support and assist customers with questions regarding inbound and out bound orders.
Maintain complete and accurate call and case notes.
Read and understand the client's SLA requirements.
Respond professionally to customer inquiries/complaints (“Supervisor calls”) received via phone, e-mail or chat and ensure that appropriate action is taken.
Research complex customer questions and issues.
Ensure established practices and work processes, tools and methodologies are being utilized.
Participate in team meetings and training.
Participate in development of knowledge base tools.
Analyze information for client escalations and prepare information for manager.
May participate in client status meetings.
Work with Customers to ensure all issues and questions are handled in a timely fashion.
Foster teamwork, positive morale, and open communication.
Communicate on a proactive basis.
The Requirements
Experience Synapse WMS a plus
3 PL experience preferred
3 + years in customer service, preferably in warehousing and/or distribution.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication and time management skills.
Strong proficiency in the use of desktop and web-based computer applications including Microsoft Office, Software programs, Internet Navigation.
2 + Years’ experience working with large data base programs and systems. I.E. SAP, Red Prairie, Manhattan or Oracle. Synapse WMS a plus
Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office programs (specifically Excel and Word).
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to communicate policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule and be punctual to work.
Ability to successfully work in a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm
Starting Pay Rate $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.
