Job Description- Customer Service Representative
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary functions to include but not be limited to:
ï§ Heavy data entry into computer includes creating inbound/outbound records
ï§ Communicate with internal personnel and external customers in person & through e-mail
ï§ Scanning, Filing, and Organizing documents
ï§ Timely submission of customer reports
ï§ Navigate through internal Operating System
ï§ Work with other PT functional areas including Dock Operations, Dispatch, AR, etc.
Shift Schedule
First Shift: Monday thru Friday with possible Saturdays
Start time would be fairly set but may adjust slightly as operations dictate
Full Time: Monday to Friday 8AM to 5PM & Saturday 8AM to 1PM
Holiday work is required periodically upon request
Compensation
Will depend on experience. Range: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
This is a temp to permanent position
Required Attire
Business casual (no tank tops, short-shorts/skirts, no obscene/offensive clothing, etc¦)
Skill Set
ï§ Must be detailed and thorough with good multi-tasking ability
ï§ Must have good communication verbally in person / telephone and email
ï§ Must have basic Math skills for addition and subtraction
ï§ Must have basic use of computers and proficiently type using keyboard and 10 key
ï§ Microsoft Office- medium proficiency (not novice) required (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
ï§ Previous experience in transportation setting would be very beneficial
ï§ Reliability is a must
