Our Assistant Managers will:

• Work closely with the Store Manager, Supervisors, and Team Members to deliver a genuine and positive customer experience

• Communicate proactively with the Store Manager via email and/or our messaging app throughout the day

• Reinforce a strong level of professionalism on the team

• Support all staff: including, but not limited to ongoing training, coaching, guiding & maturing the performance of the team with guidance from the Store Manager

• Partner with the Store Manager with recruiting and performance evaluation of Team Members on a consistent basis

• Ensure the company's training programs are being used properly by Team Members and Supervisors

• Cultivate a tight-knit community of staff members by creating an inviting and friendly workplace by building enthusiasm, accountability, and motivation with the staff

• Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members - to aid in training the staff, explain our menu to first time customers, and recommend your favorite combination

• Assist the Store Manager with operational tasks as needed

Our Assistant Managers are required to:

• Be exceptional with our POS system.

• Diffuse any customer issues in store.

• Authorized to issue and approve discounts, when acting as the floor manager.

• Partner with the Store Manager with operational tasks.

• Aid in all staff coverage of any kind of call out (sick, emergency, etc.)

• Work nights and weekends with minimum 35 hours per week

• If the Store Manager is on leave of any sort, the Assistant Manager will step in and be the interim Store Manager.

Department of Health Objectives:

• Make sure restaurant is up to code by working closely with BOH leadership to ensure proper procedures are being followed

• Ensure that all staff members understand Dept. of Health standards

•Create and enforce schedule for weekly deep cleaning of each station and restaurant

• Enthusiastically educate guests about our menu

• Deliver a delicious, unique, and memorable experience to each of our guests

• Keep the serving line, dining room, and restrooms clean and organized

• Restock stations as well as keep them clean and tidy

• Ensure the overall cleanliness of the restaurant

• Adhere to proper safety and sanitation procedures

Our team members are expected to:

• Stand and/or walk for an entire shift.

• We ask this since the role is constantly in motion, delivering top-notch customer service to our guests around the restaurant.

• Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and fellow employees.

• Create exceptional guest experiences for each customer.

• We do it by greeting guests with genuine passion, to teaching customers about our menu, how to fit our food into their personal preferences, to preparing top quality food in our open kitchens.
