Driver Helper/Warehouse Worker Full Time
Status: Hourly.
Shift: 1st
JOB SUMMARY:
St. Martin Cabinetry is looking for warehouse and delivery helper who is fluent in both Spanish and English who will accompany the delivery driver on a pre-planned delivery route where they will unload and deliver product. On days that a driver helper is not needed there will be work within the warehouse at St. Martin Cabinetry picking and stocking inventory.
Home every night and Weekends off!We deliver Monday - Friday to warehouse and jobsite locations.Traveling in the tri-state area (NJ,NY & Connecticut)
Knowledge and Skills Required
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Maintains a reliable attendance record. This includes being flexible with start times and end times each day as our routes take us all over the Northeast Region of the United States and may include 12-14 hours in a day.
Unload freight at the designated stop, free from damage.
Communication skills with customers
Ability to read and interpret specifications on product labels and delivery notes
Proficiency in basic math and measures
Able to work in a team environment and follow direction
Successfully complete all pre-employment screenings
Physical Requirements:
The employee may be required to climb stairs and maintain their balance
Safely climb in and out of equipment, sit for extended period of time in a truck or tractor-trailer.
Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
