Established food import company seeking an organized individual to open and manage a 20,000 sq ft warehouse. All products are non-perishable.
The candidate must have previous work experience (3-7 years) managing a medium sized warehouse with several 100 SKUs, shipping both small parcel and LTL shipments. Previous lot tracking and food experience a plus. This is a very hands-on position.
Roles and responsibilities:
Help coordinate move out of current 3PL warehouse into new warehouse.
Managing staff of 2-5 people.
Manage order processing cycle from the time the order is received until the time its shipped out.
Keep track of all inventory that comes in and goes out.
Keep stock of shipping supplies (boxes, bubblewrap, popcorn).
Provide customer service, schedule Will Call pick ups.
Experience and required skills:
Comfortable using FedEx, UPS software.
Proficient in MS Excel, Word. Ideally has experience working with Sage/Accpac.
Self-motivated and goal oriented.
