Warehouse Team Lead - Large distribution center in Edison, NJ seeks Warehouse Team Leads to oversee associates, assign and assist with workloads and resolve routine issues. These are full-time positions where you will earn $16.50 an hour, plus overtime at $24.75 an hour. You will also enjoy benefits and regular raises.
Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Lead will include assisting with the hiring, onboarding and training of new team members and:
Conducting employee performance evaluations.
Ensuring the necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete assignments.
Conducting daily safety checks on equipment.
Inspecting the quality and quantity of supplies and equipment delivered to the team and ordering new equipment, as needed.
Verifying that outgoing deliveries meet company quality standards, and that order slips match and have the appropriate signatures.
Keeping team members informed about rules, regulations, policies, and objectives.
Maintaining detailed and accurate work records. To qualify for the Warehouse Lead opportunity, we require at least 2 years of warehouse lead experience and:
The ability to motivate the team to accomplish objectives and solve conflicts among coworkers.
A basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in the warehouse.
