Our company is seeking an assembly technician to join our production team located in Sayreville, NJ. We're looking for dedicated employees who thrive in a team-oriented environment. Successful candidates will have some prior experience in assembly/manufacturing, or have familiarity/experience with basic use of basic hand and assembly tools (such as a soldering iron).
The Assembly technician is responsible for production of our mixing instruments by assembling our stocked components according to instruction and specifications.
Essential Functions:
Assembly of small instruments, such as rotators and other mixers.
Uses various hand tools and measuring devices to accomplish assigned tasks.
Uses power tools, hand tools, wood glue, screws, dowels and other tools and fasteners to complete assembly projects.
Inventories tools, parts, and supplies and contacts team leader if supplies are needed.
Willingness to cross train and perform other related duties as assigned.
Follows all standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Additional functions include:
- Packing of instruments for shipment
- Bringing assembled and packed instruments into the designated stocking location
- Proper organizing of assembly components
