SUMMARY
Responsible for selling used automotive parts from recycled vehicles as part of a retail and wholesale automotive recycling center via either inbound or outbound calls and/or face-to-face counter sales. Maintains, grows and services existing and new accounts, proactively identifies sales opportunities, creates opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell existing accounts, reactivates inactive accounts and identifies new account opportunities. Establishes strong, long-term relationships with customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Ensures high quality customer service to all external and internal customers
2. Produces price quotations considering inventory level, parts availability, shipping constraints, customer needs, ordering history, and profit targets
3. Determines if the item selected meets the needs and specifications of the customer by ascertaining the make, year, and type of parts needed
4. Successfully manages inbound call volume in a fast-paced environment
5. Increases sales through selling of add-on items and up-sales
6. Communicates, coordinates and collaborates with customers to ensure that all facets of the order fulfillment process, from negotiation to material inventory fulfilling, is being communicated in a timely manner
7. Develops and maintains solid team relationships
8. Maintains up to date knowledge of Hollander Exchange information
9. Expedites orders with short lead times or unusual requirements
10. Communicates with internal business partners to ensure alignment across the organization, including cross functional alignment with production, warehousing, transportation, and billing during the order fulfillment process

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Prior automotive parts experience and product knowledge
· 3 – 5 years sales/customer service experience with a proven track record of success
· Advanced ability to make outbound calls and receive inbound calls while achieving or exceeding sales goals
· Strong telephone technique with excellent oral communication skills
· Ability to quickly and accurately handle a variety of tasks
· Strong basic mathematics skills
· Strong computer skills
