Position Overview:
The Lead Carpenter / Site Supervisor will oversee multiple small commercial projects, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and timely completion. This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and hands-on carpentry expertise.
Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate several small commercial projects simultaneously.
Communicate effectively with clients, project owners, and team members.
Assess and report equipment, tool, labor, and material needs.
Work in specialized environments such as telecommunications and critical data centers.
Perform skilled carpentry tasks, including:
Rough Carpentry (Wood & Metal Framing)
Drywall Installation
Acoustic Ceilings
Door & Hardware Installation
Masonry and concrete experience is a plus.
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial interior office renovations.
OSHA 10 Certification (training provided if not currently certified).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a drug test.
Proficient in English (spoken and written).
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Safety-oriented and willing to complete additional OSHA training.
