In this position, you will handle a range of accounting and finance support functions, with an emphasis on effective record keeping. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable with entering high volumes of data into Microsoft Excel and ERP systems and databases with utmost precision and speed and must possess a high level of organization, reliability and attention to detail. This Data Entry Clerk role is a short-term temporary-to-full-time opportunity and is based in East Rutherford, New Jersey.Responsibilities
Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive materials
Performing special projects as assigned
Gathering, sorting, and prioritizing data for computer entry
Providing assistance with data entry and other administrative tasks
Following techniques and procedures for data program and meeting data entry requirements
Continuing operations in accordance with policies and procedures; communicating needed changes
Processing customer and account source documents by reviewing information and identifying issues
Requirements
Basic knowledge in computer software programs and office equipment
Expert Microsoft Excel skills required
Perform a data entry speed of 8,000 keystrokes per hour with 100% accuracy
Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
Comprehensive knowledge of data entry
Can work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
High school diploma or comparable degree
