REMOTE Analytics Technical Project Manager - (Contract to Hire preferred)

The Analytics Technical Project Manager will work with the Front-End Development Analytics team to manage complex business intelligence projects and ad hoc requests. This position will be responsible for coordinating and managing reporting, data analysis and analytical needs through extensive use of established project management principles and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Front-End Development Analytics team in the breakdown of multiple interdependent projects for clinical and operational reporting and data analytics
  • Oversee the creation of uniform dashboards and other easily accessible interactive visual reports
  • Lead planning for Agile Sprints and manage teams during daily standups for agile delivery
  • Manage ServiceNow intake process and assist with incident triage process
  • Apply and maintain tools to track program, projects, or tasks, including schedule, team member priority assignment and performance data
  • Manage all aspects of program deliverables
  • Assist with submission of State and Federal COVID data
  • Assist analysts in gathering business requirements and translating into functional requirements, understanding the problem and identifying the data needs, sources, and related complexities
  • Conduct appropriate project planning activities with business stakeholders to identify project scope, desired business outcomes, critical success factors, resource requirements, appropriate implementation methodologies and plans, as well as project risks
  • Develop and mentor more junior analysts
  • Assist junior analysts during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) solutions and deliverables
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and manage expectations setting
  • Work closely with Data Warehouse and systems teams to understand data structure; act as a liaison between teams when designing and modifying data structures
  • Cultivate operational excellence within your teams
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments)


Qualifications

:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Bachelor s Degree in science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Statistics or related quantitative STEM field
  • 5+ years of experience in project/product planning & implementation experience related to data management, reference data, data warehousing, BI & Analytics, and ETL
  • 5+ years of experience working with Epic Clarity data models
  • Experience working in healthcare environment and familiarity with healthcare data types (e.g., EHR, claims)
  • Extensive knowledge in data visualization and analytical tools
  • Strong technical acumen, project management and communication skills
  • Experience with project leadership overseeing a team of technical experts, with a demonstrated ability for time management and mentorship
  • Ability to explain to internal and external stakeholders the meaning of data insights and the rationale for a particular analysis as it was performed
  • Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions


Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
  • Active Epic Clarity data model certification
  • Experience working with Oracle Analytics Server Business Intelligence (OBIEE) tool
  • Experience as PL/SQL developer and proficiency in data modeling and architecture
  • Advanced Degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Statistics or related quantitative STEM field
