New JerseyApplyDescriptionITS has an immediate opening for a Sr. Desktop Support Engineer for a 2+ month project located in New Brunswick, NJ to assist with a Win10 deployment. Must have experience with SCCM to assist with the collection and build of Win10. Also experience with USMT.Responsibilities will include:
Installing, physically moving, changing/upgrading, and disposing of computer hardware and software products
Building out IT infrastructure networks (WAN and LAN), Wintel servers, desktops, laptops, RFID
Leading and directing a technical team
Maintaining virus protection, OS service packs, general operations, and providing back-up and disaster recovery
Handling print queue issues
Managing PC loaner program
Managing the PC refresh for the office
Supporting end users, including hardware and software issues
Directing hands-on support to laptops, personal computers and workstations
Qualifications:
Bachelors' degree from four-year college or university and 10 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
High degree of familiarity and ability with both hardware and software, including networking technologies
A+ certification required
Certifications in IBM and HP preferred
Intermediate-level knowledge of network infrastructure
Ability to occasionally lift, move, and/or carry up to 50 pounds, and occasionally move up to 100 pounds with assistance
