Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionReporting to the Senior Manager, Business Analytics, this position will assist with the transformation of Analytics capability within the US Region Commercial Operations CoE. Additional accountabilities include use of standardized analytical tools to measure price trends, product trends and price/tier impact for GPOs, regional GPOs and IDNs. This role will share responsibility for the maintenance of analytics tools for the BU’s (i.e. Sales, Marketing, and Business Integrators) & Strategic Customer Group (SCG). Additional responsibilities include ad-hoc analytics reporting for BU Management and SCG as required. This is an individual contributor role that will work closely with SCG, Commercial Integration, Business Sales Leaders, and other Commercial Operations functional and Cross-functional Business Partners and will serve as a catalyst to drive best in class analytics.Essential Responsibilities:

Perform custom analysis to provide customer and business price, price trends and price impact as well as profitability assessments for assigned GPO and related IDNs.

Understand assigned GPO including aggregation groups, regional purchasing coalitions and IDNs within the membership. Provide actionable insights in close cooperation with Commercial Integrator, Marketing and BU management.

Identify Channel trends and provide insights to Channel Management.

Prepare analytics that support the business unit’s pricing/tiering strategies in response to GPO, RPC and IDN RFPs.

Drive process and policy harmonization to reduce variation and complexity of pricing structure across product platforms.

Collaborate with BU Management, Marketing, Sales and SCG to understand information needs to quantify deal and price change impact in the context of GPOs, regional GPOs and IDNs.

Provide Ad-hoc reporting to key business partners and Sales teams (SCG, HSVP).

Provide accurate/timely data in a usable/automated format to visualize trends relative to products and portfolio using sales, volume and cost information for consumables.

Hold accountability for team goals and KPIs and implementation of industry best practices and standards.

Education and Experience requirements:

BA/BS required in Finance, Accounting or business related field.

3-5 years demonstrated analysis experience in measuring price, profitability & product trend for consumable businesses.

Understanding of pricing and price analytics strategy/practice, policy development and standardization as it relates to Medical Device Consumables products and services.

Highly analytical problem solver with solid business acumen.

Ability to engage with key business partners to evaluate key drivers and analytics to assist in development of clear strategic recommendations and anticipate business needs.

Ability to articulate complex concepts and solutions in a clear, understandable way.

Advanced working knowledge in Excel, Database (i.e. Access, SQL, Oracle) & Data Mining tools.

Proficient in Qlikview & SAP BI/BW in the context of Reporting.

10% Travel required for this position.
