As a Senior Software Architect working on the Appian platform, your mission will be to ensure Appian is always fast, scalable, and up to whatever tasks our customers configure it to do. You will be solving problems of scale and flexibility that most engineers never see, building a product capable of serving our customers in ways you never imagined. Your scope extends from the high-performance data layer to the cross-platform user interface to the design tools used to create it. Key Responsibilities:
Include Provide day-to-day guidance and technical leadership to an Appian Administrators, and Developers Maintain architectural integrity and oversight over Appian applications across the business by conducting Architectural reviews to encourage use of common Appian components and reusable components as possible, minimizing customizations
Develop Developer Guidelines and other governance documentation to maintain consistency and adherence to Appian design development deployment best practices
Set architectural policies, development guidelines Maintain oversight and coordination across various application teams to coordinate release activities, leveraging DevSecOps
Minimum of (2) years' experience in a technical leadership position with prior experience supervising teams
Two (2)+ successful implementations of Appian solutions, each supporting 600+ users technical leadership in implementing enterprise-class application delivery Experience with Agile development methodologies Excellent writing, presentation and negotiation skills Proven ability to function independently as a "self-starter" Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously Preferred
Experience Technical experience in a common platform environment
Strong writing and verbal communications skills
Ability to explain technical content to non-technical, business stakeholders Prior experience developing proposals to respond to customer needs. - Soumen Mondal
