Responsibilities:We are looking for a Java developer to join our team of software and network platform engineersThe developer will be part of the core engineering team that will be responsible for the incremental delivery of a resilient and scalable firewall automation solutionYou'll work with RESTful web services, distributed database technologies, and network devices like firewalls and routers to build cutting automation softwareYou can expect to deliver incremental business value through an agile SDLC
Required Skills:3-6 years of experience delivering large, complex software platformsPrevious experience with RESTful web services and should be comfortable with Agile processes, with an emphasis on writing high-quality, easily testable codeProven work experience in Java development, and experience with test frameworks like Junit, MockitoExcellent object oriented or functional analysis and design skillsMust be a hands-on software developer, comfortable multi-tasking, and able to work independentlyExperience with running and troubleshooting software on the UNIX platform
Preferred QualificationsBasic understanding of networking fundamentalsBasic understanding of cyber security practices, including firewalls, WAFs, proxiesHands-on experience with containers and KubernetesExperience managing and engaging with relational database technologiesExperience with search engines such as ElasticsearchExperience with messaging technologies such as Apache KafkaExperience deploying applications in the public cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.)
