Overview

We require a BA with Murex experience. They should have strong FX knowledge specifically around PL, Curves and Risk and how they are configured within Murex and the wider market.

They should also have experience working in a support capacity and be comfortable working with Front Office, Market Risk and Model Risk Users in a Trading environment. They should have be up to date with the latest regulatory changes in the market or at least understand the space. . The role will require a mix of project and support functions.

FX Pnl BA role

We require a BA with Murex Front Office experience. They should have strong FX knowledge specifically around PL and Simulation. They should have a good understanding of Flash PL and the Murex EOD process. They should have experience gathering and analyzing requirements and working with senior stakeholders. They role will involve working closely alongside Murex developers and teams to design, build and test complex changes through to completion.

FX Pnl Dev role

We require a Developer with Murex data-mart experience. They will ideally have worked with FX and FXO space and be familiar with the products and FX related terminology.

They should have experience building dynamic reports within the Murex application and be familiar with technologies to deliver to downstream applications. They should also have a good understanding of the Murex EOD process. They role will involve working closely alongside BAs to design, build and test complex changes through to completion .

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in business or technical-related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.

10-12 years of experience in providing consulting advice to senior IT and business management required.

Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Provides technical leadership in a specific business domain within a line of business. Serves in a cross-program role to ensure quality of the deliverables within their areas of expertise and drives innovation and strategic solutions within global, mission-critical, large-scale programs. Provides expertise for a specific domain within a line of business. Directs and assists team to elicit, challenge, and prioritize requirements, translate into functional design and use case models. Manages the project scope, objectives, constraints and assumptions for a large, strategic, multi-year program. Provides guidance in development of the technical design, test plans, and user documentation. Leads implementation/conversion strategy planning and implementation. Manages scope and change throughout the initiative utilizing formal change control and requirements traceability. Gathers and analyzes information and provides recommendations to address strategic business objectives that span multiple, global business and technology areas. Participates in industry forums and keeps current on domain knowledge for their specific business and application areas of expertise. Applies experiences with existing software and/or systems development processes to define and collect metrics and develop better processes to be used in the future. Actively influences software and/or systems development process improvement initiatives. N/A. Contributes to the achievement of related area objectives.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $96,000 and $212,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
