We are a local contractor serving Monmouth and Ocean County area seeking a Customer Service Representative that possesses a positive attitude, strong team working skills, ability to listen and comprehend and be part of creating a solution not a problem which results in possessing excellent customer services skills. The primary responsibility for this position is to answer phones, create work orders, build the service techs and sales staff schedules, and communicate with our customers and staff members. You must work efficiently and accurately which will require you to have knowledge of Monmouth and Ocean County area. Other duties include:
Create work orders for customer's in need of service/repair or maintenance issues or wanting to set up a sales estimate to replace equipment accurately and timely and create a professional and friendly customer service type attitude through the phone
Maintain and follow up with our maintenance contract customers to keep contracts current and up to date. No cold calling we market our own customer base
Work with our technicians and sales staff to schedule and complete work orders and follow up on recommendations and ensure all calls are completed for the day
Communicate with staff to ensure work order status and notes are accurate
Maintain a positive attitude, take accountability for actions, is driven and passionate to perform at high levels, and enjoys working with all types of people
Follow established guidelines for operating procedures, quality and productivity
Effectively responding to and following through on commitments - consistently meets or exceeds commitments with a focus on quick turnaround
Build a proven track record and reputation for achieving results through an emphasis on detail
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
A passion for dealing with people and not take things personal
Dependable -must have a record of outstanding attendance
Reading, comprehending, and be able to follow instructions
Dispatching and customer service
Record of outstanding attendance and work performance
Accomplishing work in an organized manner according to priorities
Strong attention to detail
Multitasking ability to actively listen and type notes simultaneously
Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills
Possess the quality to grow and learn to be able to work independently to become an asset to the company
Capability of learning and navigating software systems
Knowledge of MS office
