Position Summary:Rx and OTC Specialty Pharmaceutical located in South Plainfield, NJ needs an experienced Manufacturing Operator their 3rd shift operations for a Direct Hire opportunity. The Manufacturing Operator will perform work within the manufacturing department to clean equipment/rooms, dispense, and operate equipment for product studies, development, and commercial production.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiescGMP knowledge and attention to details required. Dispensde prodcut, use tools but not limited to hand held jacks, walkies, etc., clean production equipment, and train/ qualify to operate 4 or more main manufacturing equipment (examples: Small Becomix, 2-Tank, Large Becomix, Sarongs 1-2, Sarongs 3-4, 2 tank, Unimix, Ross Mixer, XP. Must be able to perform equipment and product changeovers. Bend repeatedly and lift up to 50 lbs. Follow and document written directions as outlines in batch records, forms and protocols. Check product to ensure adherence to Quality Standards and practices. Perform all work in preparation of batches. Clean equipment and production rooms for changeovers, etc. Engage and maintain in a safe and clean work environment by following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), housekeeping and safety audits (ie. 6S program), and standard operating proceduresPosition RequirementsAt least 1.5-3 years experience working in a Pharmaceutical environment cGMP knowledge and good math skills Education: Minimum High School Diploma or EquivalentThis is a Direct Hire position and salary is to be determined and based on experience.
