Manufacturing company located in Edison, NJ needs Production Operators for evening shift operations. This position is responsible for monitoring and inspecting the closures coming off the production line for quality defects. The Production Operator is also responsible to package the products according to policies and procedures.Responsibilities:To inspect manufactured closures to ensure quality standards are met, package closures according to procedures, and follow all GMPsResponsible for the packaging of caps including, but not limited to, preparing boxes, rotating the boxes, closing of the full boxes, stacking boxes on pallets, identifying boxes using correct labels Maintain ISO standards and safety standardsMaintain the standards required by good manufacturing and storage practicesUpon being fully trained, is responsible to run two machine lines simultaneouslyFollow all company policies and perform all duties as assignedRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredTwo yearsâ experience in a manufacturing environment or comparable experience; food grade experience highly desiredMust be dependable, reliable, and report for work on time as scheduledMust be able to lift and stack boxes weighing up to 30 poundsPosition requires bending over, reaching, standing and some walking for 12-hour shiftsMust possess good organizational skills and attention to detailMust be able to work effectively alone and as part of a teamSchedule:
7:00 PM -7:00 AMPay Rate:
