Dispatcher and Office Support
Current Technologies Electronics, Inc. located in Jackson, NJ, started in 1989 and is a growing state of the art technology company specializing in the installation and repair of Low Voltage Systems. We are seeking an experienced, organized full-time Office Support person with a professional attitude who will also act as a Dispatcher for technicians.
The Dispatcher/Office Worker, reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The primary responsibility of this role is to dispatch, track and support technicians in the field, while also helping with general office tasks. As we are a small and growing company, everyone pitches in for smooth flow of operations. General office skills and duties are required.
Dispatcher duties include:
Smooth flow and tracking of technicians using Service Fusion management software
Getting technicians into the field each day
Taking service calls
Follow-up dispatching throughout the day as jobs complete and calls come in
Checking technician notes and parts on Service Fusion
Office duties will include:
Answering phone calls
Responding to emails in a timely manner
Tracking and following up on past due accounts
General support to the CEO, COO and office staff as needed
Preferred skills:
Previous experience with dispatching is a plus
Comfortable using computers and cloud-based software systems
Detail oriented yet able to maintain overall focus
Ability to accurately track technicians and job progress is a must
Ability to prioritize projects and be flexible
Physically able to meet the requirements of the job, including ability to lift 20 pounds, working in confined spaces, bending and reaching, using a computer
Ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships with technicians and office staff
Clear and courteous communication skills
