Local landscaping company looking for individual with the ability to multitask while retaining focus on the tasks at hand. This position requires you to be self motivated, able to work by yourself, and articulate yourself with excellent phone, communication and organizational skills. Part time position 10am-3pm, could possibly go into full time .
Applicants must have:
- Ability to work in fast paced settings
- Strong writing, typing, research and computer skills
- Be proficient in MS Office programs, such as Word, Excel, Access, Publisher and Outlook and
Quickbooks
- Have web browser knowledge
- Experience using basic office equipment & programs and functions (i.e. multi-line phones, commercial copiers, etc.)
- Professional manner and attitude
- Customer service
Previous experience in office setting and the landscaping industry a plus
Duties include:
- answering phones
- appointment scheduling and follow-ups
- filing
- preparing documents/letters/reports
- making phone calls to existing and potential customers
- updating mailing lists
- preparing mailings to be brought to post office
